What's on your mind
The difference I'll find
Your worries, twisted in you

What we could be
But you believed
The voices, guiding in you

Close in on me
This room just seems
To be, shrinking quickly

Look and you'll see
Whets laid on me
Your feelings, tiptoe swiftly

Now there's no reason to pretend
But your still lying again

What's with this pain
And why does it stain
The deepest purity in me

Have we lost track
Of the morals we stacked
And the choices of the sick and the weary

I tried to take part
In the everyday life from the start
our monosyllabic conversations
Never met anyone's expectations
As if your were driving the nail
You declared my heart to be stale
Now I'm standing in the rain
Trying to understand
Just why your hand had to veer from my hand

Now there's no reason to pretend
But your still lying again
It seems that every hurt will justify war
And we wonder why we'll never have more
