Out of the darkness
I see your white figure
Your charming beauty
Intrigues me to stand
My legs grow weary
Of time spent in rest
My dark corner is my home
And you a stranger
A lovely one at that
Come to visit me in my solitude
To shower me in your fragrance of ecstasy
My bleak heart has had enough
And I lie back in my darkened corner
Where I rest in pain some more
I see you then fade from my sight
And out of the darkness
I will never see you again
I stay here in a melancholic season
Where mould and cobwebs grow
But this I know for sure
I cannot exist
Where the light covers the visage
Of those doused in the pleasure of happiness
That destination has fled my mind
For now I rest in darkness
Alone
With the voices in my head
In pain and solitude we rot
