I sit back and look to the east to see no dawn,
Hours and hours and the light never shines,
Still in darkness waiting and time stands still,

Where is the light that shines so bright.

Looking to the west the silent night hides all,
Stars in the sky sparkle like souls in the midst of God,
In the middle of the valley I'm lost in twilight hall,
With one thought in my head.

After darkness comes the light,
The shades of night are fading,
The pitch blackness of midnight,
And its shadows dancing on the mountains,
Gain the frosty colors of a dream,
And what seems like the edge of the world,
Gains the beauty of a new horizon,
As a new day begins.

Dawns horizons are the hardest to forget,
Their beauty lives in you forever,
Dusks are the worst to come,
It's the departure of the colors.

After darkness comes the light,
The shades of night are fading,
The pitch blackness of midnight,
And it's shadows dancing on the mountains,
And what seems like the edge of the world,
Gains the beauty of a new horizon,
As the scenery is painted with it's,
Colors.
