Album: Waiting in Seville

Waking up, the sun shining straight in your eyes. When the siren sings, you’re wearing your bed sheet disguise. Then you pull down the sheets, how do you drag this out for so long? But your stomach aches. It sounds like an excuse to me now.

Did you ever know that I wasn’t see straight anyway? You had me wrong all this time. We had somewhere to go, and now I know it wasn’t the same place, you were just a familiar face.
[x2]

Breaking down, waiting for help to arrive on a desert drive, watching our friends driving by. They remember us, still feels like we’ve been here for days. Time drags on waiting ‘till we drive away.

Did you ever know that I wasn’t see straight anyway? You had me wrong all this time. We had somewhere to go, and now I know it wasn’t the same place, you were just a familiar face.
[x2]

So things change from day, and there’s nothing you can do. Will anybody care when the answer’s right in front of you? So we change or fade away. Will anybody care when the answer’s right in front of you?

Did you ever know that I wasn’t see straight anyway? You had me wrong all this time. We had somewhere to go, whoa, whoa oh, oh oh…
