Infix a crown of mercy
On this bankrupt brow
Leave my infantile memoir

Poised oh so lovingly
On the doorstep of
Sweet mother perdition
And let the entreating gasps
Of this misbegotten tale
Purloin saccharine tears
From maternal ears

Juvenile blood mends
My fractured quintessence
And fills the cracks
Within my dearest casualty
But what keeps me
From feeling whole again

Loving embrace from the seat
Of a friend called hate
Chokes the life
From an already broken form
But how can one stray
From the only sentiment
That ever crossed their way

A strained march
Breaks into a dire run
Upon the sight of
A gate leading to Catharsis
But on these shattered knees
The road just keeps
Getting longer and longer

(Will I ever
Be whole again)x2
