God showed his mercy on the people that were ravaged today.
It was a little less hotter than we're all used to.
We prayed among them with rosary beads in our hands.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger for the next few.
Our paranoia comes from mother, our addictions from you.
We'll kill what haunts us if we take them in the blink of an eye.
I hope we make better plans before the thief in the night comes to break every plan that we have worked through.

More time and second chances will only make us sink this ship.
One more day and our body is older.
Can you feel it getting colder tonight?
This dance is getting slower.
I know that this won't last much longer.
We're raising sinking ships tonight and the anchor is tied to someone else this time.

Here's a toast to the diagnosed, for they try to put a smile on despite the way they prove to each other that they are not what they seem.
But why try? You know they're never going to break through.
No matter how hard we try, we can't hang on to old friends.
It's like we're climbing to the top of a toppling tower.
If we will die where we make our beds tonight, let's hope we're purged and cleansed before they take you.

We will die where we've made our beds tonight.
