Shotguns cried for me.
I'm terrified.
Just keep running away.

Hearing my name screamed from the barrel of a gun.

I hear them breathing down my neck:
Locked in their sights begging my legs to run faster.
To run for my life,
you tried to take my hand,
but guns speak louder than words.

I can see right through you.
And the gun is in your hands.
Never before have I ran this hard.
Never before have I got this far away from the chains,
and away from the bars
that are holding my blood from reaching my heart,
your hands held the air from reaching my lungs.
As my eyes grew darker than night,
and my face turned whiter than pale.

Now with shotguns behind me,
screaming my name I am terrified.
Shotguns screaming my name.
