"Tower of the Decaying Trees"
The bricks of the tower piled high
Butchered by my own hand
Temperatures drop across the seven seas
Indeed I am the one amongst the scattered trees of decay
I'll crush my heart
A sense of reason was my flaw
It seems fever-twisted morals are the reason
I sing for atonement
I shall make amends with the trees of decay
Erase my unfading regrets, clinging to the palm of my hand
Ah, the unending past drags on
I walk towards the face of evil above the decaying trees
If there's nothing left to protect me
Leave me facing north until the crows come
Until I've exorcised myself completely
The darkness is necessary
It's foolish to even wish for the light
Basking in empty sunlight
Ah, add another notch to my failures
Am I even alive? Even though I don't feel that way
Since that day
Ah, the unending past drags on
I lift my hand dyed with agony
I should discard all this suffering
I shall face north, and cease to be a person
To live by these hands atonement is
penance is
