I sit stuck in my chair
Alone in the room
Stuck in the gloom and the stale air
I tied bows in her hair, a playful affair
She made me coffee and I stared
Now I drink with the visions of her
I sit with my coffee and stir
I’m watching the room
From an interesting point of view
I sleep and sit where I lay
Alone in the fray
Sending her messages of truth
She was a fire of kind, the burn in the bright
Now my food gets colder with each bite
And stale air makes me see angels
Do you care what comes of me?
Oh, and I share my cup of coffee
With everything stuck in my head
My soul here sits with a bottle, and I get fatter
And I am running away
(I) have painful admissions on top of convictions
Oh, I want to throw them away
So I’m sitting today…
I sit stuck in my chair
Alone in the room
Stuck in the gloom and the stale air
Now I drink with the visions of her
I sit with my coffee and stir
I’m watching the room
From an interesting point of view
I drink like it’s the end of the world
I scream to the heavens for her
I’m watching the room
From an interesting point of view
