Reflections on the surface
Hide what is below
A sea that's full of misery
Where light will never glow
If you chose this lonely road
Time will only tell
Til you sink below the surface
Unable to rebel
It's gonna take a while
For me to get used to this
Living under pressure
Beneath an iron fist
But there has come a time in my life
Where I am forced to change
And I guess it's only for the good
That I can rearrange
My priorites of what's important
Perspective of the world
Start looking through some clearer eyes
Unaffected by this blur
Drawn is a fine line
Between what's right and wrong
And it could prove quite dangerous
If on the wrong side for too long
If you could only see
Life is not for free
What you take for granted
Others struggle for desperately
When you sit back
And you watch your life roll by
I get frustrated
At what you could be doing with your life
Has it ever occured to you
Somewhere inside your head
That we all live our lives
Til one day we are dead
Don't you wanna do something
With the time that you've got left
Or are you simply gonna
Waste away to nothingness
Cause i've heard of stories
Of what could happen to you
And I think your to beautiful
For these stories to come true
If only I could talk
And you would listen now and then
You might have a chance of knowing
Some day this could end
If you could only see
Life is not for free
What you take for granted
Others struggle for desperately
When you sit back
And you watch your life roll by
I get frustrated
At what you could be doing with your life
