Из альбома: Sister Double Happiness
As she lay across her bed that lonely night
The pictures of her life went passing by
When the lightning brightened up her darkened room
Her tears like falling rain came pouring down
Only he who'd put her here was on her mind
Though she loved him more than life, he did not care
She had put all of her love into him, then he went away
Now, she laid with folded hands, prepared to die
Oh what a fool was she to give him love
A sailor boy was he
He coldly stole her heart
And he carried it to sea
And now he's gone and as she lay alone to breathe her last in sin
That sailor never thought of her again
