Lost a thousand miles away,
Locked up and thrown away the key.
I’m so glad I finally feel free.
Look around us, aren’t you glad
We got away at last?
We got away.
So I run down to the forest, barefoot, into the thick dense woods
And I dream, of all I could, of all I could accomplish here.
I lay my tiny body down to rest, cause I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
I let the wind blow through me, traveling west, here I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
I get lost in my own head, gazing up at
the beauty that surrounds me,
and every spirit I can see.
And this river is calling out to me,
whispers echo from the trees.
They’re telling me, “never forget how to be free.”
I lay my tiny body down to rest, cause I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
I let the wind blow through me, traveling west, here I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
There’s really nothing more I can do.
There’s really nothing more I can choose, to be like you.
I lay my tiny body down to rest, cause I know I don’t have to worry anymore. I let the wind blow through me, traveling west, here I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
I let the water splash over my head, here I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
I let my eyes close, and I just go with it. Here I know I don’t have to worry anymore.
